The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) has launched the Digital Innovation for Growth and Inclusion in Nepal (DIGI Nepal) project. This project incentivizes the development and adoption of digital solutions through grant funding and technical assistance, facilitating access to Swiss and international expertise. Under the program’s first phase, DIGI Nepal is supporting development and piloting of innovative digital solutions through acceleration.
To implement the acceleration facilitation component for the agriculture services and logistics sector (including advisory platforms, agri-insurance, e-marketplace, financing, warehousing, transportation and others), Beed Management and Tangent Waves have been selected by the SDC to implement a one year “Agri Digi-Tech Challenge (ADTC)” program. This program aims to support digital tech companies to develop impactful digital innovations, integrate them into business models, and pilot their solutions. The program will offer technical assistance, mentorship support, learning and networking opportunities, and other relevant additional support.
The program is divided into two phases:
Phase 1: Selected companies will undergo a four-month acceleration program.
Phase 2 : Shortlisted companies after phase 1 would get additional mentoring while one company has the potential to receive investment.
